Will my website go down during the move?
No. We copy your site in the background while your current site stays online. Your domain only switches over once everything is tested and working on PrestoWP, so visitors never see a gap.
What do you need from me?
Your WordPress admin login, or your hosting control panel or FTP details, whichever you have. You send them through the secure Migration Request form in your PrestoWP dashboard rather than over email.
Can you migrate WooCommerce stores?
Yes. For stores we schedule the final switch at a quiet time and re-check checkout end to end after the move, so orders and customer accounts carry across cleanly.
How much does the migration cost?
Nothing. Migration is free on every PrestoWP plan, whether you have one site or several.
What happens to my old hosting account?
We leave it exactly as it is. Once your site is live on PrestoWP and you are happy, you cancel the old account yourself, so you always have a fallback during the move.
Do you move my email as well?
Your mailboxes stay with your current email provider, so nothing changes there. We do set up reliable outgoing email for your website via Amazon SES, so order confirmations and contact form messages keep landing in inboxes.
